Gary Peake undertook pupillage in a top civil law set in Trinibad & Tobago. After being offered tenancy, he worked there for a time before returning back to the UK.
He cross qualified as a solicitor, eventually gaining HCA qualification.
He transferred to the Bar in 2018.
Gary is a tutor for Lincoln’s Inn bar course students teaching ethics, advocacy, and legal practice. He also judges University mooring competitions.
FAMILY
Private law children - at all stages, from first appearance through to final hearing, including interim contested and finding of fact hearings, in the Family Proceedings', County Courts.
Gary has represented parents, grandparents and children and has been involved in cases concerning, for example, sexual abuse, serious domestic violence and removal from the jurisdiction.
Public law children / Care Law - representation of parents and Local Authorities in the Family Proceedings', County and High Courts in cases concerning, for example, physical and sexual abuse, and abduction.
Ancillary relief - representation of husbands, wives and interveners at every stage of proceedings, in the County and High Courts. Experience in dealing with foreign law applications.
Injunctive relief under the Family Law Act.
Quasi-family matters including TLATA applications, civil proceedings for the return of dowries, applications under the Protection from Harassment Act and defending CSA prosecutions.

Personal Injury - acts for Claimants and Defendants and has extensive trial experience with regard to both liability and quantum particularly in the areas of employers' liability, occupiers' liability, highways and road traffic accidents (including credit hire and fraudulent claims)
