Family Law and Matrimonial Finance specialist working at all levels to include the Court of Appeal and the High Court with significant experience in all child related matters, domestic violence issues and Ancillary relief.

Particular experience in the following:-


Public Law proceedings:-
Regularly accepts instructions from Local Authorities, Children’s Guardians, parents and relatives and on behalf of the Official Solicitor involving applications brought under the Children Act 1989 and the Adoption and Children Act 2002 to include Public Law cases with an international element.


Private Law proceedings:-
Practice covers all applications brought for Child Arrangement Orders under the Families and Children Act 2014. (Formerly residence and contact disputes)
Deals with all applications and potential application brought under the Children Act 1989 to include the following:-

  • Applications for parental responsibility orders
  • Applications for prohibited steps orders to include acting for parents who wish to remove, or oppose the removal, of their child from the jurisdiction of England and Wales and contentious issues such as the change of a child’s name or school without agreement.
  • Applications for specific issue orders including permission to change a child’s name when agreement cannot be reached, permission to take a child abroad, cultural disputes such as changing or educating a child under a particular religion and disagreements in respect of the circumcision of a child.

Domestic Violence
Applications for non-molestation orders under the Family Law Act 1996 acting for both applicants and defendants seeking orders preventing harassment and the use and threat of violence from a previous partner or other related party


Forced marriage protection orders under the Family Law Act 1996


Ancilary Relief
Dealing with all applications in respect of the division of matrimonial assets after divorce acting for both husbands and wives and interveners to include case involving very significant assets and assets held overseas
